School’s back in session, and if there’s anyone already more sick of it than the students, it’s the teachers.

Teaching is an incredibly unforgiving job. As effectively both an educator and a babysitter, teachers are tasked with instructing children about all the skills they’ll need to use in life while telling them to please, for the love of god, stop asking if George Washington was “skibidi.”

Recently, there’s been a trend of teachers sharing themselves before and after their first day of school. Their exhaustion, messed-up hair and general look of defeat speaks volumes.
